A quick update and prayer request

Dear Readers,

The wonderful man that helped me discover my passion for writing just recently passed from earthly life and returned to our Father in Heaven.  As I type these words, Mr. Roger is probably resting after a exhausting day hunting and studying the many gardens in Heaven.  Even though I am so happy that he is finally with our Heavenly Father, I still am grieving… Please continue to bear with me with patience.  I’ve been waiting to publish his tribute post until the timing was right and until I was sure that I have written exactly what I want the post to express.  Therefore, please come back in the day or so. 😉

During this time of grief, please be praying for this dear family of mine and for all of those that have called Mr. Roger a friend.  The pain of death is real, but God is greater.  God is good; He is always good….

“We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed;

perplexed, but not driven to despair;

persecuted, but not forsaken;

struck down, but not destroyed;

always carrying in the body the death of Jesus,

so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our bodies…

We also believe, and so we speak,

knowing that he who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also

with Jesus and bring us with you into His presence.”

2 Corinthians 4:8-14

“So we are always of good courage.

We know that while we are at home in the body

we are away from the Lrod,

for we walk by faith, not by sight.

Yes, we are of good courage,

and we would rather be away from the body and

at home with the Lord.”

2 Corinthians 5:6-8

“For this reason, I bow my knees before the Father,

from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named,

that according to the riches of his glory,

he may grant you to be strengthened with power through

his Spirit in your inner being,

so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith

–that you, being rooted and grounded in love–

may have strength to comprehend with all the saints

what is the breadth and length and height and depth,

and to know the love of Christ that

surpasses knowledge,

that you may be filled with all the

fullness of God.

Now to him who is able to do far more

abundantly than all that we ask or think,

according to the power at work within us,

to Him be glory in the church

and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations,

forever and ever.

Amen.”

Ephesians 3:14-21

Thank you and God bless,

Sarah
